We have also listed phone counselling services that are available 24/7 for victims and survivors seeking domestic violence support. Local Organisations (Northern Rivers NSW)
These organizations employ teams of counsellors and trained professionals to support individuals and families navigate domestic violence. They are a wonderful resource for safety planning and have access to resources and funding that might be helpful moving forward.
DV Telephone Counselling Services
If you feel unsafe having these numbers appear on your call history, you might like to save them under a different name that you recognize. These services are discrete and will not return your call unless you have instructed them too. Many of these services also have an online chat option if that feels safer and more comfortable.
Domestic Violence and the Courts
Navigating orders and the court process can be stressful. Here are some links that might have some valuable information for you to consider.
